Nooga

We went to Chattanooga the other day to meet up with my Atlanta friend - Kristi - and her two darling kids - Kat and Calvin. Jacob came along, too, and will stay with us for a little over a week while my folks are house hunting.

All the kids LOVE Jacob. They were so good to hold hands as we walked from place to place. Thank you for being so great with them, Jacob!

We first met up at the downtown riverfront for a picnic and to play in the water.

This was before I put on a swimmy diaper - man, if a diaper is capable of holding THAT much, I must be changing them too frequently! ;)

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a flash thunderstorm came along and rained us out. We got drenched on our way back to the cars. Then it began to hail! Jacob noted that it was pea-sized hail.

We finished our picnic lunch in our cars.

Then we walked to the Creative Discovery Children's Museum.

We finished the day off with dinner at Sticky Fingers and then said our farewells until next time!

  1. What a fun and educational excursion to see your friends in Nooga. The picture of Jacob holding hands with the children was especially lovely. It shows his gentle nature and interest in young children. He is, indeed, a very good Uncle and friend. One photo shows Charlotte leaning in to him so trusting and loving. It is very tender to our eyes. Looks like an extradinarily fun day together.
