These were taken this weekend at the entrance to our neighborhood.

I have been playing around with some different effects in iphoto - this is the antiqued look:

Let's Go Fly a Kite! (and plant some herbs!)

Last Friday we drove by the elementary school and saw the whole field full of people flying their kites. It was an impressive sight to see all those many brightly colored kites soaring in the air!

When we got home from our errands, I got out our kite and tried to show Charlotte how to fly it.

Then we went swinging.

Then Charlotte helped me plant some herbs.

Mmmmm - I HEART SUSHI!

If I could, I would eat this EVERY DAY.... soooooo yummy!

I took Charlotte to the HSV St. Patrick's Day Parade today.

Yes, that is a GREEN DOG!

Elephant Walk

The Barnum and Bailey Circus has come to town! When they arrive they do an animal walk from the train station to the civic center. It was fun to see the elephants!

Not only were they adorable, the peppermint tea was de-lish!

And my sister-in-law for making these awesome cards with a photo of her son:

I love how she got him to "hold" the lollypop!
